Clint ISD Schools Earn TEA Accountability A-Rating
  • Clint Early College Academy, ranked as one of the region’s highest performing high schools, earned an “A” rating for the third consecutive year and also earned three TEA Distinction Designations.

  • Clint High School earned an “A” rating for the second consecutive year alongside two TEA Distinction Designations. 

  • Horizon High School earned an “A” rating and five TEA Distinction Designations. 

  • Mountain View High School earned an “A” rating in 2024 and a “B” Rating in 2025 earning two TEA Distinction Designations for 2025.

  • W.D. Surratt Elementary earned an “A” rating and one TEA Distinction Designation.

Our district scored 98 out of 100 points, ranking among the top districts in financial accountability in the state of Texas.

Clint ISD Receives 12 TEA Purple Star Designations
  • We are incredibly proud to announce that 12 schools in Clint ISD have received the prestigious TEA Purple Star designation for the 2025-2027 school years.

Clint High School Automotive Teacher Wins 2025 Harbor Freight Tools For Schools Prize
  • Joshua Marmolejo, has been named a winner of the 2025 Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence, winning $35,000 for his school’s program and $15,000 for himself.

  • Out of 1,000 applicants, he is one of 25 public high school skilled trades teachers receiving a portion of $1.5 million in cash prizes that were awarded this year across the U.S.                                                                

  • Mr. Marmolejo is a trailblazer and is the Region 19’s first Pathways of Technology Early College High School instructor helping build the program through his role as an instructor at El Paso Community College. In his automotive tech program, students obtain their high school diploma/industry-recognized credentials. Some students even earn an associate’s degrees.

Robotics

Clint ISD offers Robotics to all students PreK - 12th grade. The programs consist of VEX PreK - 12th, Aerial Drones 6th - 12th grade and Esports 3rd - 12th grade.
